Beyond the Cube is designed to complement traditional learning by laying the foundation for this kind of mathematical thinking in young learners, so that as they grow up, they're better prepared to understand, question and work alongside the technology shaping their world.
Its mission is to transform cubing into a powerful learning experience — one that reveals mathematical thinking not as a set of formulas to memorize, but as patterns, strategies and ideas to discover through hands-on challenges.
Meet Vivaan
Hi, I'm Vivaan, a high school sophomore with a passion for mathematics and cubing. I've been solving the Rubik's Cube since I was eight years old, and today I'm a competitive speedcuber with a personal best of 9.95 seconds on the 3×3 cube.
Over the years, I discovered that the cube is much more than a puzzle—it's a gateway to patterns, logic, and mathematical thinking. That inspired me to create Beyond the Cube, where I hope to help students experience the excitement of exploring mathematics through cubing.
